| Wow, I have not typed anything on this Xanga madness in a LONG while... Here goes the update I guess.
I am currently attending Cerritos College in hopes of achieving a sufficient enough GPA for Berkeley or Cal Poly :). My major is Mechanical Engineering! I am loving every minute of it, well, most of the time.. I am also training with the cross-country team! I was given the choice of running this x-c season, but I knew I wouldn't be in shape in time. The team is awesome on and off the course. I have only been training for about 2 months and they have already accepted me into their family :)! I am also getting more involved with my music and really enjoying it. I have picked up my drums, sax and guitar again! Let me tell ya... The Best of the Beatles compilation for the alto is pretty awesome!

| love at first sight, or just lust at a first glance?I'm really not sure where this one will lead to, but I hope it does work out. Everything happens for a reason though :) and she will help me get over the other girl which would freakin rock! I've had 2 close realationships within the past year and one of them even got to the relationship level. Something always happened though.. For some reason I can't keep a girl around and it's making me wonder why. The first step is to get over the girl I like now and like I previously stated, I think this new girl that I met will help me do so. I just wish that the girl that I liked would hurry up and close the deal with someone so I can get on with everything already! But I know why she's doing it, so I just have to do more of that "sucking up" thing. And I'm talking about the kind of sucking up people do when they smash their finger, but don't want anybody to know they're huring lol.
I have really missed workin on cars lately, actually since I stopped working and started going to school. The economy isn't exactly doing all too well, so I know that nobody is looking to hire, hence the reason I started my scholastic experience. It makes me sick to my stomach knowing that I have all of this training and can't really apply it anywhere but in conversation. I hear cars everyday with something wrong with them, whether it be a mechanical, electrical or both, and what do people do? They keep on keeping on. Squealing brakes as high pitched as a toddlers scream, backfires that make people drop to the floor because they think they're getting shot at, and misfires so intense that my grandmas walking pace will beat it to the other side of the crosswalk even before the car does. Like I said, It's the economy, not the people. Million dollar homes are selling for 300k, budget cuts are so bad that teachers can't even make copies of papers for their students, I mean, what a better place to start than our education, right?
I wish I were still at UTI, things were a lot more carefree then... "End Phase Friday" was our biggest fear and it wasn't even all that bad. All we did was take a big test on everything that we had gone over during that phase (a phase= 3 weeks) and we were done. We'd of course have a party after and let everything go. Another 3 weeks would go by and we'd do it all over again. I don't feel I have that passion to learn at Cerritos as I did at UTI and it's kind of frightening. I guess we'll see what happens. I have so much other stuff to type, but I think I'll save it for a better time.. Night everyone! | | |
